Kelly Feng

Director of National Asian Family Services

Kelly Feng is the Director of National Asian Family Services. Kelly was a qualified medical doctor in China and migrated to New Zealand in 2002 where she obtained her social work qualification. She has been a registered social worker since 2005 and has been working in mental health and the social sector for over a decade.

Kelly led the pilot project for Asian Mental Health Services for the Waitemata District Health Board in 2007 and over the past ten year has been involved in many Asian projects and consultations.

She implemented an Asian clinical psychological service in 2013 and led the development of the Chinese and Korean ‘Incredible Year Parenting Training Programme.’

​Kelly was also involved in the design of the Asian Mental Health Consumer Survey methodology which aimed to increase the uptake of consumer participation in 2014. She is passionate about the Asian community.
