The Problem Gambling Foundation of New Zealand (PGF) is a non-profit organisation and a registered charitable entity under the Charities Act 2005.
We are the largest treatment provider for people with problem gambling in Australasia and provide free, professional and confidential counselling services for both gamblers and affected others. Our dedicated Public Health team work to raise awareness of gambling harm and on prevention strategies in our communities.
Our work is predominantly funded by the Ministry of Health, with funds received from the gambling levy. In addition, our advocacy work is funded from our own resources and from donations received from generous supporters who are passionate about preventing the harms that gambling can cause.
