Kate Handley

Kate is a seasoned creative marketer with a passion for shaping effective marketing that makes positive social change.

Kate has led marketing teams and projects for many organisations over the past 25+ years; from SaaS to science, farming to festivals. She ran brand and digital agency Salted Herring for 15 years and has headed marketing client-side for a scale-up tech exporter and a large outdoor apparel brand more recently. With experience working in Women’s Refuge and a Masters in social marketing she has particular depth in violence prevention research and marketing.

Kate is now very excited about leveraging that experience to help drive positive change for Kiwis affected by gamblified harms.

She lives in Morison’s Bush, not far from Wellington with her partner and little cavvy. She has two nearly adult children spread between Amsterdam and Wellington.
