We’re Looking for Young Co-designers
This is a unique opportunity for young people with personal experience of gambling harm or addiction to genuinely shape a scalable and sustainable service for the Problem Gambling Foundation (PGF) to meet the needs of their peers.
We are seeking four young people, aged 18-22 years, to join our small, contract-based co-design team.
If you are an engaged, thoughtful, and purpose-driven young person who is passionate about making a difference and comfortable sharing your insights and experiences, you're who we are looking for. If you have any experience with gambling or addiction, whether it is you, your flatmate or someone in your life, we want to hear from you.

About the Project
Project Timeline: November 2025 – March 2026
This is an integrated, youth-collaboration approach, combining established frameworks with genuine youth input:
- Youth Voice and Lived Experience: Utilising your insights as the core foundation for development.
- Co-designed Training: Collaborative workshop sessions to prepare and upskill the team.
- Clinical and Operational Integration: Blending proven models with youth-led solutions.
- Creating a Sustainable Service: Building a model that the PGF can continue to use effectively long after the project concludes.

What’s Next?
We are planting the seed early to encourage you to think about this opportunity. More details about this exciting opportunity to co-design something BY youth, FOR youth, the time-line, commitment, compensation, and formal application process will be shared very soon..
In the meantime, if you know a young person who might be interested, or if you have any questions about the project, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the project team:
